LOL She's got her own money. She's a doctor and he's a goddamned engineer. They don't even have a car payment or a house payment. Well, they might still have a car payment. I think they still have their Honda. I bought my daughter a Tesla and gave my son-in-law a Porsche that I picked up at auction. I even paid off their house when they had my granddaughter. But, I think they kept the Honda and that might still have payments?
I want to say it's a 2019, so they should have paid it off by now. They should know not to carry debt unless the interest on the debt is less than the interest they can get from investing! I've explained this a hundred times!
LOL They can afford their own damned airplane tickets!
I'll still pay for it. I hope they're smart and are saving up for retirement. There's some talk of my daughter moving to her own practice, which takes some money. I suspect she's starting to get tired of the ungodly hours she spends working for the hospital.
Didn't you tell her you would set her up a practice in Maine
I did indeed tell her that. I'll even ensure her husband gets a job.
I'm not sure if she wants to move to Maine, however. She has no real ties to Maine. The year we moved was the year she entered college.
My son was quite a bit younger. He has friends and a familiarity with the area. She has no such thing.
she has ties in that you and your son are there
