you can get extra pads with big buttons that add major function to the board. though imn considering that im also considering buying pc program and doing usb to 1/4 input jack cable and direct record seems you can do so much use any amp any amount iof effects shoot i might be better player then i tohught lol i just dont have good production and more effectsx lmmfao

Using the PC does add a whole lot of sound choices. Unlimited basically. The thing i with recording to a PC there is always a little lag which makes it difficult to get the timing right when you go to add a second track. Thats why I bought the tascam thing

i can use my boss gt1 board and direct record to pc but thats what i get tons of latency like half a second from chord strum to sound replay and it sucks cause i like hear the other tracks while recording over each one so i can time it easier. might have to work on that sometime

Yeah thats what I am talking about. The tascam allows me to play along and play through it in real time with no lag but it is still digital and it records to an SD card which I can later plug into my laptop to add even more effects and stuff
