Hell, you could probably find a non running one for cheap as hell and not even mess with the two good ones you have

I dunno? I suspect the vast majority have been restored to running state. They're kinda collectible and one of those things that aren't all that expensive to restore to running condition and dump on the market for a few bucks.

I'd rather not invest the time trying to find a broken version - which probably won't be in the US. If they are importing them, they'll be in good condition/running condition.

I didnt think about importing one but I suppose they are not common here in America

Yeah, they weren't sold here. Anything imported is likely to be at least in running condition. The only market for them is weirdos and collectors. Finding one that's not in running condition might be harder than finding one in running condition. I dunno, 'cause I've not really looked.

I'll toss the idea at my guys and they'll do what needs to be done as far as research.

I don't mind taking one in restored condition and modifying it. They're not exactly rare - they're just kinda rare outside of Europe.
