We're the lost tribes.

True. The Hebrews were working forests in Spain during the time of Solomon. That's where they got timbers for the first temple. Mines in North America for copper to make bronze. The Irish are descendants of the Tribe of Dan. In ancient times they called themselves Tribe of Dan in their language. Also in the northward migration the Danites named rivers after themselves. Hence, Danube. In Rostov Oblast Russia it's known as Rostov Na Dan. Then there's the Danish. Another tribe escaped to Japan and established the religion of Shintoism. Many Japanese words are Hebrew. The Japanese have Hebrew letters in their alphabet.

Every year they have the same march that King David made when he took the ark around Israel to stop the plague that God sent to punish Israel for the arrogance of King David when he numbered his troops.

To this day the Japanese have an ark they built that they march through the streets chanting "Essa, Essa!". Meaning, "Carry" in Hebrew. The paintings on the sides of the ark are of desert scenes and desert animals from the middle east. Interesting no? And there are Jewish communities in Japan who make a yearly pilgrimage to Israel.

Check this image out for an interesting look at ancient Hebrew: https://external-content.duckduckgo.com/iu/?u=https%3A%2F%2Ftse1.mm.bing.net%2Fth%3Fid%3DOIP.KuCS6HSUItFBrUfwd654HgHaD_%26pid%3DApi&f=1

Just writing down all the letters and translating is an eye opener. If you do this on your own going through old charts and translations you will then have a new insight on the not only the aleph bet system but on Hebrew as well.

It was found in about 1890 if my memory serves me right and was untranslated for about 40 years until other examples were found in Israel. A few years back vandals were chased off after attempting to chip out the top two rows of letters. Fortunately plenty of photos have already been taken and it's now well known. Other writings were found in nearby rocks.

You've given me a lot to research. Thanks!

Do an online search for other charts on early Hebrew. There's also a stone in New Mexico that has the Ten Commandments written in Hebrew. I'm not remembering off hand which style of alphabet.

Beit or Bet is the letter for "house". Fun fact, every letter in the Hebrew alphabet is also a word. The Hebrew written language is three layers deep. Meaning, each letter of a word is also a word. You can test this with Google translate. Take any word and start subtracting letters and you still get a word, right down to just one letter which is also a word. This is how some misconceptions or misunderstandings of the Bible have their roots and have led to false doctrines such as The Rapture. The words in Hebrew for salt and taken are only one letter difference.

So, using the word that Jesus used to assert that Lot's wife was 'taken' when she turned back to Sodom change one letter on the biblical narrative that she was turned to salt when she 'looked' back and you can see how easily this got messed up and turned into a miracle of some sort.

She didn't look back, she turned back or went back. She didn't turn to salt but instead was taken.

The four letter name of God Yod Hey Vav Hey would be in our language, Behold the hand, behold the nail. You can research this yourself. It's fun.

The name Bethleham is actually Beit Le Ham or House of Bread.

Jesus said, "I am the Bread of life"

So much in scripture has a much deeper meaning in Hebrew. Even the sentence structure.

Go right back to the beginning when God declared that Adam and Eve would die on the day they ate of the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil. The Hebrew phrasing means something quite different.

It says on the day they ate of that tree dying they would surely die.

Dying, meaning that it would be a process that would end in sure death. So in Hebrew it's stated with the words 'dying' and 'die'.

If only Christian churches would actually teach Hebrew in the schools, Hebrew alphabets and the actual culture of each period so many controversies and false doctrines would be laid to rest.

Aleph Bet is where we get the word Alphabet. First two letters.

Your comments have some of the most interesting info I've read in a while. Going to do some research as well. Cheers

Something to think about: Scrabble would be ridiculously easy with Hebrew. I wonder if they even do that game in Israel.
