That's the Holy Spirit working within you; man cannot "choose" to believe, he simply stops fighting the Spirit.
Maybe that's it. I have been kind of thinking about it and just dismissing it for months and I finally decided to give it a shot again to see if that is what's missing.
I don't think I'll be going to church much but I did some praying and prayed for good things to day for people and didn't wish harm but justice for the ones that are committing harm to our country and to kids and the ones that lie and steal be dealt with. I hope this helps. I did not wish for anything for myself personally since that would be greedy in my eyes but for others. I figure if he wants me to have more he'll make sure I'll have opportunities to make it in an honest manner. Now I have to I found be good and not wish harm onto others even the liberals in California which is a bummer but he'll take care of that in time.
One thing that struck me when learning about prayer, is that it can help to add "If it be Your will" to any of your petitions - helps center the conversation without you having to worry if you're "saying the right things".
I did wish that I would love if he could help the president and his loyal followers could find the evil in the country and the world and expose it and bring them to justice. I figured if he found the prayer good he might decide to grant it. I didn't expect him to do everything but if he decided the prayer was a good and holy one he would consider granting it. Asking for stuff is greedy though I did ask for him to show me how to find my calling in life so I could use my life skills to make a living that was a one that would help out people or someone greatly in need. I figure if I am asking humble stuff in my prayers they would be considered on a higher basis of either granting or not. I also prayed for my family and friends and neighbors health and happiness.
