"Refined to a ration" tells me he's young, and in high school. Only a young person would write that. They're always trying to sound smart. It doesn't make him sound smart though. A real smart person, who's older, doesn't say "refined to a ration."

I did, is it something like refined to a point or something? I mean I guess I just don't really see how the term “refine” and “ration” can be somehow be shoehorned to fit together in the same phrase and really make sense. I don’t. bc know I guess Im missing something
