If I blocked a user, I just don’t want to see anything from them. I don’t give a flying fuck what they say, I just don’t want to see it. So if some fuck is a +30, my block is null. Makes no sense.

When you block someone:
all of their past/present/future posts won't appear anywhere but in their profile's posts history.
all of their past/present and future (if they are level 30+) comments will be dimmed/collapsed anywhere but in their profile's comments history.
You won't receive notifications when they are mentioning you (no matter where) and their replies to your posts/comments won't be notified in your pm box.
I guess I don’t understand “blocked”. I only got to block 5 users. I assumed I would no longer see a post or comment made by them. That’s all I wanted. They can continue to freely speak about whatever they want, I just don’t want to see it.

This is an inaccurate statement, because the blocked user can not reply to your post. They get the message "This user has blocked you from responding to their posts and comments".
Your statement implies they are still able to reply to a post that would normally show up in the inbox.
This particular configuration is fake and gay btw.
You have missed the part where it mentions that only level 30+ can now reply to posts/comments from blocked users.
