Mix very well. I use 5gal bucket w cement mixer and mask because it does make a small cloud.
This amount lasts us ~2 years. 8 to 12 loads laundry per week.

Yes. We make a liquid from zote, borax, and washing powder. We use it in a HE washer. Twice a month I run a cycle using dawn detergent to breakdown residue left by the “soap”.
