We need to take lessons from Kazakhstan. The price of LPG was doubled, they rioted.
My rates were upped 36.5% last month.
The Democrats have been shutting down coal-fired generating plants all over the country, blocking oil and gas pipelines, trying to drive the entire coal industry out of business, restricting oil use, closing old nuclear plants and not building replacements. The outcome of all this was fairly obvious from the get-go. Higher prices, shortages, brownouts and blackouts.
They're even trying to pass a new tax on solar of all things - one that's so high that it means solar panels can never make economic sense. It's because solar panels are racist, yo. Seriously. They argue that only white people can afford them and it's not fair for white people to make a $20,000 or $30,000 investment that will pay for itself in 10 - 15 years. It's racist, after all. The tax they're proposing is $2,400 for each kW of capacity over the life of the system. A 10 kW system costs about $30,000 and will incur $24,000 in taxes.
Yea. That's why I'm not doing a grid tie and I'm installing everything myself. I'm not applying for any tax credits either.
Next is a law requiring you to connect to the grid. You watch. No way you're getting away having electricity free of the spic/nigger tax, whitey.
Almost sounds like if you're in an appartment that a neighbor or even the landlord are syphoning off power from you. I'd not be shocked if your neighbor is hooked up to your electric and the landlord told them the electricity was included in their rent because your paying for it. Hell might be profitable to have the electric company if your in an apartment come in and look around at the fusebox and make sure another apartments not hooked into your meter and in a house make sure that the neighbors didn't run their own line while you were away having it run out a basement window then just below the lawn into their home next door.
I've read about this happening so much over the past 2 decades it's not even surprising anymore except how someone can live with themselves while doing this to someone else.
I don't know how that's even possible.
Consider free electric
I bought a low frequency inverter and 10Kw of Batteries. I'm pulling the plug. My panels are going up this spring.
It’s a good feeling. Depending on you solar charger or inverter, you might be able to dump excess power directly into hot water heater, thereby reducing energy for that, sometimes eliminating.
I was actually thinking of getting two solar hot water collectors as well. I've already had my furnace crap out. Got me thinking about domestic hot water.
Household tip: turn your water heater temp settings down when you are on the road.
Turn it off when away from home. Same with the heat.
I would do some experimenting to make sure nothing siphoning power off. Are you heating with electric strip heat or something?
Oh I see you must have had a rate hike. Shitty.
Welcome to a variable rate plan...
