It's been a nightmare to maintain the thing. First the clutch went out at low miles, now the fuel regulator is busted. Not only that, most cars these days are made terrible, there's plastic everywhere, it rides horribly, and unless you want to spend a fortune, most people have to deal with it.

Tacoma’s are generally pretty good. That’s 7 years old, were you the original owner?

One prior owner before me, clutch was destroyed at around the 40,000 mile mark

Clutch could be destroyed by a bad driver pretty easy, towing, overheating it severely once.

Never had one go on me before, so it was surprising
