It was my rest day yesterday. All I did was take my dog for 2 walks. No working out, nobody dropped a plate on my foot, I didn't even stub my toe. I woke up today feeling like I broke my big toe and can't really put weight on it. I won't be doing any squats for a while and will have to modify everything else where I needed to have some weight on my toes. Girlie push-ups are in my immediate future all because in one's mid 40s it is possible to get injured sleeping somehow.

I've got about 20 years on you and haven't woken up out of joint yet. My left shoulder has been letting me know its there though, I'm a side sleeper and am usually on my left side. That shoulder hasn't been liking it over the past couple weeks. I think I had too much twist or pressure on it one night. Seems to be getting better.

What kind of bed do you have?

Lol! I've been sleeping on a wing back sofa most nights since I became single. I eventually fall asleep watching YT or old movies on OTA tv. I did put a layer of plywood under the cushons to firm it up. I have 3 beds but the sofa is the only thing with a tv in the room.

Good God, man, put a tv where a bed is!

I have thought ab putting plywood down to firm my couch up...did it work?

Try reading a good book on the bed to fall asleep there and see if you wake up feeling better.
