I prefer it to climate change. I wonder what the government solution would be to keep the magnetic pole in the same spot.
Once everyone has been forced to switch to electric cars, they'll blame to pole shift on the magnets in the electric motors. Electric cars will then be phased out for something even less useful. We'll be forced to give up any household appliances with a big motor or compressor like A/C, refrigerator, and washer/dryer.

The BS about nervous systems cardiac etc is 100 fear porn. The likely results for that that are alive during the peak of this will be extra sunblock, auroras all over the place, and lots of lost birds.
PBS did a good special about this years ago when they still made real science documentaries.
