My question is how will it look when the Sun starts to go down, will the eclipse become larger and larger?

But I'm not asking about the doom, I'm asking about will it stretch out in the sky because it's on the horizon? I figured someone on here is a scientist.

Yeah I know. I'm just wondering why it is a big deal this time around.

I have no idea how that stuff works, unfortunately. I have a hard time trusting any 'science' anyone tells me anymore without seeing it myself. Seeing the moon during the day makes it feel like something they told me in school is bull.

I don't think it is any different than the one in 17 or the one that happened this past October. I think people just like seeing shit they don't see all the time. I think there's a planetary alignment and some comet that is going to be supposedly visible. All the doomsayers are just fucking retards. so I hold that shit with a grain of salt.

Personally, I like the Leonids more than eclipses but I haven't lived anywhere without light pollution to be able to see them in a very long time.

People are doomsaying about a dumb old eclipse? I mean sure it'll be an amazing sight to see and everyone around should take time to look, but come on now let's not get all Jack Van Impe about it.
