>$4250 worth of electricity
When it's only a handful of people using the electricity to charge cars. They're proposing that they'll add tens of millions of electric cars. At the same time they are closing power plants and regulating coal to the point it'll be unusable. So a massive demand in electricity at the same time we have a dropoff in production will spike the price. They know this. They planned this.
They are also killing nuclear generating plants.
Nuclear plants can produce gasoline, and any other hydrocarbon. All ya need is heat and raw materials.
Is that why they are being shutdown?
And coal plants, which are the best option for power generation in many cases.
Not over nuclear.
It will have to quadruple just to cost the same as gas.
And it will, and more. The whole point of the global warming bullshit is to make gas and electrcity more expensive.
or if they drop the subsidies for buying and mfg electric cars
Still cheaper, just not by as much.
Efficient solar panels would ready fuck up their plan.
They don't work when they are covered by snow.
Too bad there's nothing you can do about snow. If only you could push it off, or spray it with the hose or something.
solar and windmills take as much energy to make as they actually generate in a lifetime.
They know this. They planned this.
You give them too much credit.
And then you have more fun times like when texans got gaped by their electricity providers.
