The "conspiracy" here isnt even conspiracy worthy. The use of doubles, both for scheduling conflicts, and security, is an open secret in D.C.

The bigger scandal, and everyone knows it, is not just that joe wasnt elected at all, but that if this is a security double, then a guy who didnt even run for president, is being allowed to act as president.
While I'd go so far as to say its not joe, the weirdness of the narrative defeats any evidence we might have. That means this is either a slow-news-day item ("man bites dog") or a distraction story.
If true it would also mean they don't want Kamala in office as president.

Yes, saddam used doubles for security reasons, this would be completely different, it would be to usurp power

The bias is that acting like it's a big secret or some huge revelation, causes people to perceive it as much less likely.
If I were even running for so much as congress, I would find someone to be my double.
And if Saddam did it then we already have precedent.
Assume there is nothing special about the regime's security state.
