Anyone in favour of planned obsolescence is an enemy of consumers and an ally to Apple.
Also, soldering is not the only problem. The back cover needs to be patiently opened using a heat gun. Sorry, I don't like putting my phone in the proximity of a heat gun. And if the battery is glued in, components could accidentally be damaged when removing it. And it is highly inconvenient.

I am not a paid shill. I am somebody who is capable with their hands advocate for others to be as well. Hence why I suggest a process instead of a solution. I am not going to read any articles. I know how to replace batteries and screens and component parts on any tablet or phone.
