I'm one of "the readers" (kek, who isn't?). Defending Greenpeace sponsored research while attacking Big Industry sponsored research just seems like a silly hill to die on.
Greenpeace gain nothing by producing false research. It's not like they lack environmental disasters to try to make assholes care about.
Big industry gets to pollute, and profit for a few more years by producing misleading research and inaccurate propaganda to delay action on environmental issues.
