Communes are usually socialism, one of the few forms of socialism which can and does work. But only scales as large as you can individually know and trust all members. Which is why all forms of socialism at scale, natso included, is for dumb fucks.

Socialism is simply the sharing of resources. Communism is that plus state control, planning, and redistribution. Basically the state owns and controls socialism.
This is why Lenin said socialism is communism. Because it's usually a springboard.
