Apparently telling someone the quality of their work sucks and they need to stop getting distracted trading stocks or chatting with coworkers or family and friends during work hours before completing their work competently is bullying and demoralizing

So now I have to take 4 hours of sensitivity training

Time was the HR dept was staffed by long time employees of the company, or in the least individuals with significant experience in the industry and who had an aptitude for dealing with people.

Beginning in the 70s, however, colleges and universities began churning out mostly female graduates of their HR programmes. Following decades of research initiated by the large companies like GM in the 50s it was generally accepted that the soft sciences like psychiatry had figured out the working man's brain and trained HR graduates were well positioned to assist companies AND employees.

Nothing could be further from the truth.

The graduates of these 2 year degree programmes had mostly never worked a real job let alone in the industry BUT were hired and given significant authority from day one. This of course lead to a grossly inflated sense of importance, power tripping, and other excesses. Senior management was happy to fob off the messy job of dealing with employees to someone who was well 'qualified' and so these woefully inexperienced yet power mad individuals were given carte blanche.

They didn't have a fucking clue what they were doing.

Women naturally gravitate to these sort of positions for reasons that are today generally well understood. Their natural inclination towards Marxist approaches to social issues as well as the misguided sense of entitlement as a result of feminism has turned HR into the holy living hell that it is today.

Gee, I wonder how all the hard-working men at a steel plant felt when 22 year-old Janelle, fresh out of college, swooped in and started telling them how to speak to each other. She couldn't tell steel apart from tin, but she'll be telling all of the actual steel workers how to behave. Fucking absurd, I blame previous generations for not resisting this bullshit and letting it get so out of control.

It started with the Jews. They got into positions of authority, and they opened the doors to women. Women fucked things up, and they helped open the doors to minorities. Minorities further fucked things up, and they helped open the doors to sexual freaks and perverts. Sexual perverts further fucked things up, and they opened the only doors left ... the doors to hell.

how can you expect people to understand something when their job security explicitly requires their ignorance?

[–] 7 pts

Yeah the hoops people have to jump through to avoid hurting people's feelings are ridiculous.

At least now you know to not make suggestions on how to improve their performance but to instead work on documentation that will lead to their termination or transfer to another department.

The clue- and powerless suddenly gaining ten levels without the required XP has never improved things. RPG or otherwise.

You have it backwards.

The HR stuff is a result of women in the workplace complaining all the time. So HR had to be beefed up. HR is attractive to the same type of women who complain in the workplace.

The problem arises from the employees. The employees who are the greatest liability for civil suits are women and LGBTQlmnop+ people.

Here is the death spiral:

More women in the workplace led to more gossiping, complaining and hurt feelings. More hurt feelings led to demands for more sensitivity. More demand for sensitivity led to women taking over HR departments. More women in HR led to more concern about hurt feelings being more important than productivity.

Perfect explanation! Very well done. I am stealing this and pretending it is my original thought and I won't give you a single iota of credit. lol

Owww. That hurt my feelings. I'm reporting you to HR.

Wrong, this is the spiral:

You are correct.

The way to understand men vs women in the workplace is to understand that women and men have COMPLETELY DIFFERENT AND INDEPENDENT cultures that are hard wired into us. If we were not classifying species according to sexual pairs we would EASILY classify men and women as different species, the differences are that significant.

Camille Paglia describes it very well (6 min video): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uzGRChFh4iw

The problem with schools trying to teach boys and girls is that they are not only applying a single communication culture, structure and toolset to both sexes, they are actually teaching using femal social culture, structure and tools which DOES NOT apply to boys. Boys cannot function under female rules, boys are designed to dominate females and require a completely different method of communication and training.

The same applies to the workspace. What you are experiencing is women applying their communication culture, structure and toolset to workplace social problems. They SIMPLY DO NOT COMPREHEND OR UNDERSTAND how men communicate. The wiring in their brains CANNOT comprehend the difference actually. If you spend any time in any work team with a significant number of females, you will notice the following:

  • All of the men can EASILY imagine and understand the female perspective.

  • NONE OF THE WOMEN can (or are even interested in) understanding the male perspective.

This difference exists because in our species the males and females have co-evolved where the female social warfare strategies are singular and always focused on her self, while the male structure needs to take into account warfare dynamics which include team membership in a hierarchy, strategy and territorialism which forces the male of our species to think of us more than of him self as men are largely disposable in the service of the tribe. Women are not disposable and have evolved accordingly.

There is absolutely NO WAY to bridge the gap between the male and female culture, and one or the other wins. Right now the female world view is dominant and you are suffering from it.

We all are suffering from it and this has to be overturned.

Do everything you can to sabotage the business. Steal the clients, open your own company, and hire Pajeets to do the online shit for peanuts.

Especially since even when women (or one or two of them) can see it's going to far, they lack the balls to go against group think even against their better judgement.

I’ve seen good and bad women in HR. Your post assumes that the HR people at your company are the ones who came up with the idea for this stupid training. They aren’t.

All of this shit is mandated either by law and/or by the lawyers charged with compliance and/or risk mitigation on behalf of the company.

The HR people are down on the food chain from there. They simply carry out the orders to stay in compliance, whether or not they actually agree with those orders.

I’m not saying that snowflake HR women don’t exist, either. But they are a result, not the originators. I’m saying that if you want to blame anyone for you having to take those stupid trainings, blame the usual suspects: your government, the legal system, and the asshole lawyers who sue companies on behalf of the snowflakes in the workplace..oh, and the snowflakes themselves, of course.

I had one based woman hr person that didn't give a shit. We even talked about the positive points of the kkk, and she grew up with the Philly mob, knew Angelo bruno before he was blown up on his porch. It was like she took the job to keep the stupid bullshit out
