Doing hot dogs tonight myself ... not glamorous, but with my wife ill, it's an easy fix.

I like hotdogs especially with chilli

Yes 100% gotta throw some mustard on there too.

Hot dogs are easy and tasty.

We do a lot of easy meals with an 8 month old I don't seem to have the time to cook anything too complicated.

My lunch was my dinner. Every Sunday I cook lunch for the week in the crockpot. Today, I was too lazy to make dinner. Amazing how much lettuce and other various veggies you can consume when you drop a half pound of southwestern seasoned pulled chicken on top of it.

That's a smart idea. What kids of things do you cook in the crock pot for your lunches?

It's mainly a matter of changing the seasoning. Greek some weeks w/ tzatziki, southwestern others, avocado ranch chicken on salad. Pulled chicken is a general staple of my diet. I just decide that's the chicken flavor for most the week then work around it.

Breakfast is almost always eggs and some meat idk. Turkey sausage is my latest jam.

Dinner is generally meant to be a little less generic. While I often make it different I do inevitably repeat some leftovers.

What keeps it generally interesting is that cooking is a low carb competition w/ my wife.

I stopped drinking soda for a year then found the taste of all soda repulsive. I was raised on the stuff. At that moment, I learned all tastes are acquired.

The simple act of getting people off fast food can change their life.

I do a whole chicken in my crock pot about once a month. I just throw it in there frozen with no seasonings. It cooks up well and then we use it for diffrent meals till it's gone. We will eat it like that with sides, I'll shred some up and add taco seasoning to it, or make sandwiches, or chicken noddle soup. I then take the carcus and veggie scraps, cover it with water in the crock pot, cook it for the day on low and make stock.

We still do eat fast food on occasion and a Coca-Cola is a big weakness of mine but we do try to eat homemade food as much as possible.

Please go fuck yourself with that peasant food. I used to be poor too, but i don't disgust people with tales of me eating out of the garbage can.

Chard soup, eggplants, leftover steak, leftover sweet potatoes.

Never had chard soup before but that sounds like a nice healthy meal.

It was the first time I made it. I sauted some red onions and garlic to flavor the oil, then added a bunch of chopped up chard. When that was cooked down, I added a jar of chicken stock and mushrooms and a bit of sherry.

What did you think of It? My mom really likes Swiss chard and grew a bunch a few yrs ago but the only way she made it was sauteed.
